TESDA Welcomes 2nd Pilot Training of Master Trainer Participants

TESDA welcomed the participants of the 2nd Pilot Training of Master Trainers for a tour of the TESDA Women's Center and a short discussion on TESDA programs. The Participants were welcomed by Mr. Elmer Talavera, Ms. Marta Hernandez and Ms. Felicidad Zurbano of TESDA, who gave each training participant a welcome token. SUPERVISORY TRAINING for IN-COMPANY TRAINERS IN ASEAN COUNTRIES at The Sulo Riviera

TRAIN THE TRAINER IN BUSINESS PROGRAMME (ToT) started this July 20, 2015, Monday. The K-12 Plus Project extended a warm welcome to our participants Mr. Christian Stüer, Project Director of “Effective In-company Vocational Training in the Mekong Region" and Dr. Alberto Fenix gave the welcome remarks. Dr. Winfried Heusinger and K-12 Lead Consultant Ole Frahm-Reindell are the Master Training Facilitators. The “Standard for In-Company Trainers (ToT) in ASEAN Countries" was developed by a group of experts from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam with the facilitation of the GIZ Project “Effective In-Company Vocational Training in the Mekong Region”. This project is funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. After the standard development, the project has further developed the curriculum and selected useful teaching and resource materials. Finance Dualized Education - Microfinance Confirmation Ceremony

The Officers of Paglaum Multipurpose Cooperative, teachers, and parents of students pose during the Confirmation Ceremony
for the 8 students as participants in the Finance Dualized Education - Microfinance (FDE-MF) of the Paglaum Multipurpose Cooperative and the Looc National High School. The 8 students were selected from over 400 Grade 10 students of Looc National High School (LNHS). LNHS starts its FDE-MF pilot with these eight 10th Grade students, who will continue with their FDE-MF next year as they become the first LNHS batch of Grade 11 in school year 2016-2017. For this school year, the students will be able to cover 3 out of the 4 core competencies in the qualification Microfinance Technology Level II (the entry level in MF qualification. There is no MF Technology National Certification Level I). Their first lesson in Paglaum Multipurpose Cooperative was held on Friday, June 26. They will be in PMPC every Friday from 3 in the afternoon for their workplace (PMPC) - based lesson or field activity.

K-12 Plus Participates at the Philippine Semiconductor & Electronics Convention and Exhibition

K-12PLUS and GPCCI were part of an exhibit at the Philippine Semiconductor & Electronics Convention and Exhibition from June 3-5, 2015.

PSECE 2015  was held at the World Trade Center Manila. GPCCI organized a pavilion where German companies showcase their high-tech products and services. The participating companies at the German pavilion are:
